kHs4fVLI found this in the desert in Yuma, AZ during a walk in the East Foothills.

I assume it was a transponder to someone’s high altitude balloon (HAB).

Wondering if there is a way to find out whose, since it has a SN on it.

I’ve posted this in the HAB subreddit, but with a whopping 117 members I thought I might want to share the wealth with this subreddit which has slightly more readers.

Also wondering if it can be scavenged for parts (you know, in case I need it for my apocalypse robot).

Or at least what is this specifically.

I can’t seem to find one online.

Other than the XBee part.

Thanks.
