Loudoun County, VA– Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office are seeking witnesses to an assault that occurred in the parking lot of the Lake Center Plaza in Sterling, VA, on October 18th. Detectives also believe there are additional victims in the case and are encouraging them to come forward.
Deputies initially responded to the scene after a victim reported that around 2AM he and his friends were in an altercation with a group of unknown subjects. During the incident, two of the subjects showed firearms that were concealed under their shirts.
The incident reportedly stemmed from an altercation in the parking lot where a group of possibly six or more subjects were possibly targeting their victims based on their ethnicity. One of the subjects threw one of the victims to the ground before leaving the scene.
The victims attempted to follow the suspects but were not able to locate them. The victims then contacted law enforcement.
The suspects were all described as Black males.
- One suspect was further described as being 5’11” tall with a heavy build and was wearing a red hat.
- A second suspect was described as having dreadlocks.
The suspects left the scene in an older model Lincoln Continental and a navy blue Toyota Rav4.
