Suspects mid-2000’s Caddy

A driver ran over a 2-year-old with his Cadillac in Arlington and stopped only long enough to let the toddler’s family pull him out from under the car, county police say.

On Thursday, police released images from surveillance video of the incident, in the hope that someone can identify the driver.

The young child’s injuries in the Aug. 30 crash, which occurred in a McDonald’s parking lot on the 3000 block of Columbia Pike, were not life-threatening, police said.

In a statement, police said the suspect was a black man between the ages of 18 and 30 with green eyes and dreadlocks. He was driving a silver four-door Cadillac sedan. As soon as the child was out from under the car, he sped away, police said, after reviewing the video.
