Papa John’s missing Camaro found in Detroit driveway


John Schnatter, Papa John’s owner, who reunited with his 1972 Camaro Z28 back in 2010 after years of searching – is once again looking for it.  Yet this time it’s because it was stolen.

Schnatter sold the car way back to help his dad who who was going through bankruptcy at the time – later utilizing funds from his dad’s business to start his now behemoth pizza chain Papa John’s Pizza.

The car is gold with black stripes down the middle, with a Kentucky license plate of “PZZA1”. The trailer was a 2014 Haul AC White/Black trailer with Kentucky license plate 719005.

The car is usually displayed the company headquarters in Kentucky but was trailered up to Detroit for the famous Woodward Dream Cruise event this past weekend.
