When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.

It was sometime in 2012 and I was watching the local news one night when a report came up on a local bank heist.  As the reporter described the case, they put up on the screen a security camera photo of the perpetrator from the robbery.

Sure he was wearing sunglasses, but there were other features that someone who really knew this person may have recognized.  At the end of the report, the newscaster said the phrase we’re all familiar with, “If anyone has any information on th

is please contact the So-and-So Police Department at 555-555-5555.”

I sat there and thought to myself how, in the mid 20-teens, in this day and age where Internet technologies and social media run ubiquitous with our everyday lives, are law enforcement and the media soliciting the public’s assistance by asking them to call a phone number?!

Now I love Alex Bell as much as the next guy, but how is society’s best medium for solving important investigations affecting our communities based on technology that was invented in 1876!?  Sure the Internet is a child of the 60’s, but at least it’s got almost a century on the telephone ; )

The point is this is a critical public infrastructure and integral social service that needs and deserves a better, relevant information dissemination, collection, and sharing mechanism.  This isn’t just about awareness; this is about linking communities, connecting individuals, and bridging the gap between citizens and law enforcement in a centralized way.

The Internet and ubiquity of it in our daily lives fits this bill perfectly.  Krimeshare.com is built from the ground up, with love, leveraging the latest technological trends to make sharing the vital information easy, accessible, and even challenging (in a fun sort of way).

I believe the desire for justice is a universal virtue that runs through the veins of every man, woman, and child on this planet.  Krimeshare.com just may be a way we can perhaps see that which we so desire come a little closer, a little quicker.

Let’s solve this, together! #KrimeItUp
